What’s On

We love local, so we run lots of regular initiatives that aim to strengthen the spiritual and social cohesion of our community in Northland-Wilton. All of our gatherings are for anyone to join, regardless of if you would call yourself a churchgoer or not.

There’s also other private groups that use our church and hall for pilates, guitar lessons and other initiatives. Check the Hall calendar to see if it’s free, and make contact with us if you’d like to book it for your group.

Small GROUPS

Fortnightly on Wednesday evenings in homes, Fortnightly on Monday 1pm at St Anne’s

Small groups exist to deepen fellowship amongst st Anne’s members as well as deepen our engagement with scripture. Our evening groups tend to eat together before a Bible study and/or time of prayer. If you’re interested in joining a group, get in touch with Jessie.

Craft group

Fortnightly on 2nd and 4th Sundays, 3-5 pm

Bring your project, or just turn up and find something from our stores to begin! Tea, coffee and a friendly chat provided. Our craft group exists to be a welcoming space for anyone in the community to enjoy connection while creating.

Poetry Night

Our newest offering, come along with a poem you’ve written, one you think is too good not to share, or just to be a supportor for those speaking.

Poetry Nights are held sporadically throughout the year as a new initiative for st Anne’s. If you like them and want more, let us know!

Thursday Munch

Fourth Thursdays, 11:45 in the Hall

Our Thursday munchers are treated to a bit of entertainment - a quiz, a concert or a talk- and then a light lunch and conversation. Come as you are and enjoy the company!

Mainly Music

Wednesdays during term time, 9:30am-10:45am

How much fun can you take? Mainly Music is an interactive music and movement time for young children aged 0-5 and their caregivers. After some singing and action songs, we get to enjoy morning tea and some free play in the hall. Sessions cost $5 or buy a ten-trip for $40. Find out more about mainly music here.

Guys Curry and Beer

Second Thursdays, 7pm at Dehli7

Our male-identifying folk gather at Dehli 7 for a low-key chat over curry and beer. Contact Tony if you would like to be added to communications, or feel free to just rock up with an appetite!
